Virtual & Hybrid Events

Thinking about a Hybrid Event ?

A hybrid event is a conference, workshop, tradeshow or seminar that combines a live in-person event with a virtual online component. With the growing popularity and cost-effectiveness of virtual events, hybrid events have become a popular way of increasing participation in traditional events at a relatively low cost.  They also enable participation by people who might be unable to attend physically due to travel or time zone constraints or through a wish to reduce the carbon footprint of the event.

What equipment is required?

To produce and deliver a Hybrid event, you will need all the equipment you would normally need for a face-to-face event, plus a platform for your virtual delegates and Live streaming equipment at the venue.

  • Lectern, PA System, Stage, Projetor and Screen
  • Camera Crew + Cameras
  • Live streaming Technician + Livestreaming Equipment
  • Sound engineer + Microphones
  • Stage Lighting

The Venue

Venues now commonly offer a standard screen and projector. So, all you need is a Technician to make sure everything runs smoothly, and that’s fine. We can help you, even if it’s just to make sure your PowerPoint slides appear on the screen at the correct time.

The Venue you choose may have equipment such as a PA System, Lectern, Microphones and a Stage. We are happy to use in-house equipment, providing it meets the standards we need to deliver a quality event.

Broadband

You will need a good wired broadband connection from your venue, up to 5mbps is normally required for a stream. For Venues that have a poor internet connection, we have a range of routers with 4/5g Sim cards that can be used.

Zoom & Teams

The chances are you’re already familiar with Zoom or Teams and how to use them. These platforms are meant to help organizers handle several aspects of event management, such as hosting sessions via streaming, helping share events and managing tickets, and more. We are more than happy to stream to these platforms should you wish to use them.

High-speed Internet

Having a Starlink gives us peace of mind when going out on location to livestream an event. All we need is a clear line of sight to the sky.

Starlink can provide connectivity to the most remote and rural communities around the world. “Starlink users typically experience download speeds between 25 and 220Mbps, with a majority of users experiencing speeds over 100Mbps,”
