In the last ten years the world has gone Social Media Crazy!

Every morning, before we leave the house, we pick up our phone or tablet and check what happened overnight. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Linkedin are just a few of the Social Media sites we look at before we leave for work.

In the last three years Broadband Speed has trebled allowing consumers to watch videos online and now with Facebook Live, YouTube Live & Periscope consumers can now create their own video content very easily which means by 2019 a staggering 80% of Social Media content will be Video!

Are platforms like Facebook Live just a gimmick, No, these video platforms will be around for a very long time. Marketeers have been using videos as a sales tool for a long time and it works very well for them. You can also use Facebook Live in your business to creating short behind the scenes videos of you and your colleges getting your next conference or event ready.

Here are my Five Live streaming Tips

  1. Ensure you have a good internet speed with a minimum of upload speed of 2meg.
  2. Prepare and check your equipment in advance.
  3. Where possible do a site visit and test the equipment your going to use on the day
  4. Always use a professional Live streaming Company.
  5. NEVER Live stream important events with your phone or tablet.

To engage properly with new customers, you will need to deliver a professional looking video, with possibly PowerPoint Slides, Graphics and of course good audio.

We have over twenty years experience in the conference and events industry, working directly with clients, event organisers and AV Companies both here in the UK and in Europe.

In the last five years, our Live streaming business has grown, and we are now one of the UKs leading Live streaming suppliers offering Single camera with a simple straight to internet solution or a
Multi-camera production, with full vision mixing and graphics.

We can also add social media integration to your production, so you can interact live with your audience via Chat, Twitter or Facebook, we can even include skype calls in your Live stream.

The general conception is that a professional Live streaming is expensive, but it’s not and it is a worth while investment for many types and sizes of events. In Scotland, for instance, we can reach the Highlands and Islands and can saving Public sector organizations money, and on a bigger scale, we can Live stream to offices or delegates around the world.

By Live streaming your event, people can experience your production all over the world, and this can enhance your brand.
